Jerusalem ( AL-Quds) – Heart of the Holy Land

The Old City Of Jerusalem
It is a 0.9 square kilometers area that is surrounded by a wall. It is home to many religious sites of high importance, among which are the Temple Mount and its Western Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Dome of the Rock, the Garden Tomb and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Al-Aqsa Mosque ( Al MAsjid Al-Aqsa )
In Islam, Al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site, and it is located in the Old City of Jerusalem. Historically, it comprises the Silver-Domed Mosque, the Dome of the Rock, seventeen gates and four minarets. Islamic tradition holds that Prophet Muhammad –peace be upon him- led prayers towards this site until the seventeen month after the emigration when God directed him to turn towards the Kaaba.
The Church of Holy Sepulcher – Jerusalem
This church is located in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. It contains the two holiest sites in Christendom: the site where Jesus of Nazareth was crucified (Calvay), and Jesus’s empty tomb, where he is believed to have been buried and resurrected.
